We're looking for a skilled AI Automation Engineer to join our growing team at Sync Stream. In this role, you'll design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions for a diverse range of clients — from small businesses to mid-market companies across Australia.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement end-to-end automation workflows using n8n and other automation platforms
  • Integrate AI models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) into client workflows for intelligent decision-making
  • Build custom API integrations, document processing pipelines, and chatbot interfaces
  • Collaborate with clients to map existing processes and identify automation opportunities

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar)
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM APIs and prompt engineering
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data transformation
  • A problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience with Webflow, Supabase, or PostgreSQL
  • Background in client-facing or agency environments
  • Knowledge of React or Next.js
